ZUTPHEN – Afgelopen vrijdag is de dagvaarding afgeleverd bij de gemeente Zutphen en de Vitens. Daarmee gaat een groot deel van de bewoners na jaren praten over de oplossing door met de stap die we probeerde te vermijden. Het is schrijnend dat de rechter eraan te pas moet komen, immers de wethouder Hans La Rosa gaf in 2010 toe dat het project mislukt was. De Vitens heeft jaren lang gedaan alsof ze een oplossing wilde, en deed afgelopen oktober onder finale kwijting en onder dreiging van herstel voor WKO voor het eerst een aanbod aan de bewoners. De bewoners wezen dit voorstel onder dwang af. En nu zal de rechter moeten bepalen wie gelijk heeft, de bewoners of de Vitens en gemeente Zutphen.

De gemeente Zutphen zal in de loop van de week reageren volgens TV Gelderland. De Vitens had nog geen reactie.
